RTV SLOVENIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WITH SOLOISTS IN KOPER
On Friday, September 9, at 8 p.m. a special musical experience organized by the Society of Friends of Music Koper and Imago Sloveniae will take place at Theatre Koper.
Under the baton of the excellent young Slovenian conductors Ana Erčulj and Davorin Morija, the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra will perform accompanied by three outstanding young Slovenian soloists: the best student of her generation and recipient of the admirable British title “Associate of the Royal Academy of Music”, soprano Nika Gorič; a rising opera star and one of the most successful pop performers in Slovenia, mezzo-soprano Sara Briški Cirman – Raiven; and the recipient of the prestigious Emily Anderson Award of the British Royal Philharmonic Society, violinist Maja Horvat.
The concert pays tribute to two important composers from Primorska. We will mark this year’s 330th anniversary of the birth of Giuseppe Tartini with the Devil’s Trill, and we will celebrate the centenary of the birth of Vladimir Lovec with the christening performance of the Koper Symphony.
Warmly welcome!
