The Rêverie piano trio consists of young musicians, winners of numerous awards from domestic and international competitions. Pianist Tanja Činč and violinist Mojca Jerman are students at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, and cellist Katarina Leskovar is a student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. They have been working together since autumn 2012. Throughout the years, their professor was Tomaž Lorenz.
The members of the trio have performed numerous concerts at home and abroad in three years. In Slovenia, they performed at a concert as part of the cycle “Young Talents (Dobrna), as part of the concerts of the Musical Youth of Ljubljana (Osterc Hall of the Slovenian Philharmonic), at several concerts of Imaga Sloveniae (including twice at the International Summer Festival Imaga Sloveniae in Ljubljana) and as part of the GM Oder cycle with three concerts in Slovenia (Slovenska Bistrica, Kranj, Ljubljana in the Slovenian Philharmonic). In addition, they had a concert in Idrija and as part of the Tartini festival in Koper.
Outside Slovenia, they performed in Italy (Conservatory of Music in Trieste, Devin), Hungary (Budapest, Monošter), Switzerland (as part of a master class in Schaffhausen) and Croatia (Zagreb, Vatroslav Lisinski Hall).
The members of the trio also took part in several international competitions. At the Tartini International Competition in Piran, they won 1st prize and were the absolute winners among the chamber ensembles. The year before, in 2013, they also participated in the international competition of chamber groups within the Bled Festival, where they won 2nd place and 3rd prize as the only awarded Slovenian chamber group. In December 2015, they won the 1st prize in the competition for chamber groups Primož Ramovš. That same month, they won 1st prize at the International Grand Prize Virtuoso and were invited to the final concert in Paris, where they were selected as absolute winners and received a promotional prize containing three solo concerts in London, Bonn and Paris in autumn 2016.
They have trained in a number of master classes by renowned professors such as the Trio di Parma, Chia Chou, Homero Francesch, Nora Chastain, Wen-Sinn Yang, Daniel Rowland and Julian Arp.
In July 2015, the trio members recorded a promotional CD at the Cinch Studio, and in September 2015 they went on a concert tour in Argentina, where they performed six concerts (four concerts in Buenos Aires and two in the south of Argentina in Villa la Angostura and Bariloche).
