PRESS CONFERENCE

On Monday, June 3rd, at 11:30 AM, we are holding a press conference at Stow Café in the City Museum of Ljubljana to present this year’s program of the 36th International Festival Imago Sloveniae and Summer in Ljubljana’s Old Town. You will have the opportunity to talk to guests who are co-creating the diverse lineup of this year’s events:

• Jan Kern, Artistic Director of Imago Sloveniae
• Daša Černe and Jakob Barbo, exceptional young conductors, conducting this year’s opening concert
• Gregor Kovačič, conductor of the Salzburg Provincial Wind Orchestra, which will follow up their Ljubljana concert by opening the Salzburg Festspiele
• Associate Professor Dr. Drago Kunej, scientific collaborator at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU), head of our international symposium “In a New Attire: Folk Music and Dance Revival Movements”
• Barbara Mihelič, Director of Ljubljana Zoo, the magical venue in which we are organizing a thematic concert in collaboration with the Slovenian Philharmonic for the second consecutive year
• Blaž Peršin, Director of the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana
• Tatjana Novak, Director of the media company Press Clipping
• Full Professor Volodja Balžalorsky, Program Director of the Spectrum Festival, violinist and violin professor at the Ljubljana Academy of Music
