In collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Ljubljana and KUD Manifest, who organizes the ART CIRCLE International Visual Arts Festival, we once again joined forces to link Austria and Slovenia artistically in a series of events.

The Austrian Jazz pianist Martin Listabarth will have a series of concerts in Slovenia. He is an outstanding jazz pianist and musical storyteller whose compositions are inspired by landscapes, cities and encounters. His music combines jazz, classical, pop and oriental influences and is characterised by emotional depth as well as harmonic and rhythmic sophistication. He has won international acclaim for his solo and trio albums and has toured from Cairo to New York.

On the 27 March at 19.00 he will perform at the Red Hall at the Town Hall of Municipality of Ljubljana.

On the 28 March at 19.00 he will give a short performance at the ART CIRCLE 2025 final exhibition opening in the Vila Vipolže, in Vipolže.

The performances are organized by Imago Sloveniae, KUD Manifest, Art Circle, the Austrian Cultural Forum (for the event at Vila Vipolže also ZTKMŠ Brda and Municipality of Brda).

In addition to the series of concerts, you will be able to admire also 46 newly created artworks made during the ART CIRCLE 2025 festival and a special project by Austrian photographer Franzi Kreis.  The artist is currently on a research residency at Atelje Šempeter in Šempeter pri Gorici with the photographer Lukas Beck. She is working on the exhibition GENERATION BETA, a photo-interview project presenting different perspectives of life through photographs and sound recordings.

This series of events shows the connections between different art forms and people at their best and how important and fruitful the cooperation between different institutions and countries can be.
