Lara Oset and Leon Firšt combine their musical creativity under the name Larao. They have been gathering material for their forthcoming album for several years, blending R&B, soul, pop, jazz and elements of other genres. In February 2023, they released their first original single “Time”, followed by “No rules”, which became the Pop Song of the Week on Val 202 in April of the same year. This concert of original laid-back jazz and an expanded ensemble of top musicians will feature unreleased tracks with intimate lyrics and sensual instrumentals.
ABOUT UNESCO INTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY
30 April was recognised as International Jazz Day by the UNESCO General Assembly in 2011, at the initiative of legendary jazz composer Herbie Hancock, and added to the United Nations calendar in 2012. Today, it is celebrated in more than 190 countries.
UNESCO recognises jazz music as a symbol of freedom of expression and dialogue between cultures, as a synonym for respect for human rights and the dignity of women and men, regardless of their background. Read more about International Jazz Day here.
