Sarah Železnik is a versatile vocalist active across a range of musical genres. She studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, graduating with honors in 2018. Her development has been shaped by masterclasses with internationally renowned artists such as José James, Meshell Ndegeocello, and David Linx. She has performed with the Metropole Orkest at festivals including Tomorrowland and the Amsterdam Dance Event, and has appeared on prominent Dutch stages. In 2022, she performed at Roskilde Festival alongside Nigerian trumpeter Etuk Ubong. Based in Slovenia since 2023, she is active as a singer, educator, and collaborator with leading Slovenian musicians.
Nejc Škofic is a multifaceted pianist and composer working in jazz, film, and theater. He earned a Master’s degree in jazz piano from the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt. A double recipient of the gold award at the TEMSIG competition and winner of the EMCY Prize, he was also honored with national recognition for significant artistic achievement. He teaches at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet and the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, and regularly collaborates with prominent Slovenian and international artists. His work includes compositions for film, television, and stage productions.
Nikola Matošić is one of Slovenia’s leading jazz double bassists, with a career spanning over 25 years. He has performed with world-renowned musicians and appeared at major international festivals, including the prestigious North Sea Jazz Festival with jazz legend Doug Hammond. In addition to his performance career, he plays a vital role as a mentor and organizer, contributing significantly to the development of the Slovenian jazz scene and supporting young musicians through performance opportunities and collaborative projects.
