22nd TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT THE LJUBLJANA CITY HALL
The Christmas concert, traditionally held on Christmas Eve, December 24, at 5 p.m., is organized by the Cultural Institute of Ljubljana’s Old Town in collaboration with Tourism Ljubljana and the City Municipality of Ljubljana. This event is a favorite among both residents and visitors to Ljubljana. Each year, a new production enchants the thousands in attendance, creating a magical Christmas Eve atmosphere.
This year’s 22nd Traditional Christmas Concert in front of the City Hall will feature one of Slovenia’s most renowned jazz/soul/gospel musicians, Uroš Perić, who will conjure up an intimate Christmas evening of festive music.

Uroš Perić is an exceptional and unique musician – a pianist, vocalist, arranger and composer, renowned as a top-class interpreter of the golden era of blues, jazz and soul. World critics rank him among the rare white artists who possess the vocal quality, style and soul of Black musicians. He is known worldwide for his remarkable talent, charisma and distinctive musical expression. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with more than 150 renowned artists and recorded 25 albums for Slovenian and international labels. He performs regularly with leading Slovenian orchestras, including the Big Band and the Symphony Orchestra of RTV Slovenia.
As a musical ambassador of Slovenia, he has performed in 26 countries across three continents and at prestigious festivals such as Montreux, Ascona, Davos, Atlanta, Nashville and New Orleans. He has received numerous awards, including the German award for Best Jazz Vocalist and the honorary medal of the City of Marseille. His artistry, shaped by the influences of Ray Charles, the genius Gene Harris and other greats, continues to earn standing ovations from audiences around the world.
