Genre-defying music collective, forging a new sonic language between Slavic tradition and contemporary urban culture.

SLAV’KA is a genre-defying music collective forging a new sonic language between Slavic tradition and contemporary urban culture. Drawing on the vocal heritage of the Slavic and Balkan worlds, the band transforms voice, rhythm and memory into an electrifying blend of hip-hop, reggae and modern urban grooves.

At the heart of SLAV’KA are three female voices that do more than sing—they call, answer and weave a powerful polyphonic dialogue. Carrying echoes of the past while speaking unmistakably in the present, their voices create music without nostalgia: vibrant, immediate and deeply alive. It is music for the dance floor as much as for attentive listening; music that celebrates community, resilience and shared memory.

SLAV’KA does not preserve tradition – it transforms it, questions it and brings it into the pulse of today’s urban reality.

The project is conceived and led by Baba ZveN (Zvezdana Novaković), a multidisciplinary vocalist, composer and performer whose work spans traditional music, theatre, composition and electronic experimentation. Her artistic practice is rooted in the exploration of the human voice and in reimagining ancient vocal traditions through bold contemporary expression.

Admission free.

In case of rain, the concert will take place in the ZRC Atrium.
