SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION OF THE CROSS-BORDER FESTIVAL PREČKANJA – SCONFINAMENTI 2025

We have successfully concluded the cross-border music festival Prečkanja – Sconfinamenti, which took place from 23 June to 6 July 2025. Together we have created an unforgettable interplay of music, cultures and cross-border cooperation. Under the auspices of the Glasbena matica Friuli Venezia Giulia and Imago Sloveniae, with the support of pianist and artistic director Alexander Gadjiev, we offered visitors world-class concerts, masterclasses and artist residencies.

The exceptional programme, focused on young “stars in the making” from around the world, included 21 events:
14 concerts
2 film screenings
3 masterclasses (piano, improvisation, composition)
2 lectures and artist talks

In several beautiful venues – from Nova Gorica, Gorizia, Ljubljana, to Brdo and the renovated Castle of Dobrovo – we offered free events that strengthened the cultural link between the regions and promoted sustainable, cross-border development.
