36th NIGHTS IN LJUBLJANA OLD TOWN INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
The summer season of Imago Sloveniae will traditionally be rounded off by the Nights in Old Ljubljana Town festival – the largest international street festival of ethno and jazz music in the capital, which will unfortunately be held on a much reduced scale this year due to drastic cuts in public co-financing.
The festival, based on quality music in genres such as ethno, jazz, chanson, world music and classical music, offers an overview of current music creation and recreation in these fields. The programme includes the most outstanding foreign and Slovenian musicians, with a special emphasis on the younger generation of artists and contemporary music production. The festival is extremely popular among the audience and is well attended every year.
All events are free of charge!
