MUSIC WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN

ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME

The children’s music workshop is designed to bring children joy while supporting their overall development. It is suitable for children aged 6 to 10.

As part of the accompanying programme of the 38th International Festival Nights in Old Ljubljana Town, a Music Workshop will take place on Saturday, 22 August, at 11.00 at the ZRC Atrium. The workshop is intended for preschool children accompanied by their parents and children in the first three years of primary school without parental accompaniment. The workshop lasts 45 minutes.

The children’s music workshop is designed to bring children joy through music while supporting their overall development. Through singing, movement, music-based educational games, and playing small Orff and therapeutic instruments, children will explore rhythm, melody, sound, and the possibilities of their own voices. In the process, they will develop their sense of rhythm and melody, imagination, creativity, and emotional expression.

The workshop will be led by Ana Černe Gregorič, a music teacher and music educator with more than a decade of experience in children’s musical development. She graduated in Music Education from the Academy of Music at the University of Ljubljana. She has extensive experience teaching preschool and school-age children, teenagers, and adults, as well as conducting choirs and leading music workshops. In her work, she combines professional pedagogical knowledge with practical methods, creating a stimulating environment for musical exploration and creativity.

You are warmly invited!
