On the eve of the International Jazz Day, Jazz Ravne and the Dr Franc Sušnik Central Carinthian Library will host the charming Coffee Sessions Duo in the pleasant ambience of the castle garden in Ravne na Koroškem. The musicians describe their process like this: “Music doesn’t always require an expensive production and thousands of complications. Sometimes, it is simple, created while sipping hot coffee on the couch, wearing comfortable pants, enjoying the presence of the soul beside you.” The guitar that is a drum as well as a gorgeous string instrument in Mihael’s hands, and the resonant vocals, where Klara always prioritizes the story over the range, combine into more than the sum of their parts: Coffee Sessions Duo creates a rhythm that makes the body sway of its own accord.
