Exceptional, versatile, multiple-award-winning, unstoppable brothers Kristijan in Žigan Krajnčan, DrummingCellist & SingingDancer utilise vocals, cello, percussion, and dance to expand, redraw, and even break down the usual barriers between musical styles and creative expressions. Žigan Krajnčan shook up the Slovenian art scene in recent years. A musician, dancer, choreographer, director, and performer with countless awards, he spans the corners of the world developing his own brand of integral creativity. He persists in his aspiration to spread, meld, and push stylistic boundaries. He came to the attention of the wider Slovenian public in 2021, when he won the Golden buzzer on Slovenia’s Got talent. His creative path took him to the US, China, across Europe and Africa, where he came across a variety of cultural patterns and soaked them up, deliberated on them, and finally included them in his artistic projects. In 2023, he published his first solo album titled “Fusion Reactor”. His innovative solo performances merge singing, beatboxing, and dancing, a unique blend not only in Slovenia but in a global context.

Kristijan Krajnčan is establishing himself as one of Europe’s most visible artists of his generation. A virtuoso both on the cello and drums, composer and film creator, he won numerous awards in all the fields of his creativity. He published four albums as “DrummingCellist”, and contributed to a further 52 albums, performed in more than 25 countries in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa, and composed music for several films, theatrical, interdisciplinary, and dance projects.
