Marco Sollini and Salvatore Barbatano are some of the most respected and internationally acclaimed Italian piano duos, dubbed the “Twenty Golden Fingers of Italy” by the media. The duo has performed in numerous prestigious halls around the globe, including the Great Hall of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Krakow Philharmonic, the Prague Smetana Hall, the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center in Izmir, the Maltese Manoel Theater, the Solti Hall at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, the St. Petersburg Palaces International Music Festival, the Schouwburg Jakarta Festival, the Santorini International Music Festival, the Kursaal in Bad Wildbad, the Interfest in Bitola, the Bibiena Theater in Mantua and the Viotti Festival in Vercelli. They have given concerts with various orchestras, including the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, the Krakow Philharmonic, the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, the Euro Sinfonietta, the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, the Aquilani Soloists, the Venetian Solists, Budapest Symphony Orchestra MAV and Leningrad Symphony Orchestra. Marco and Salvatore have been signed with Sony Classical since 2018. They have released Mozart’s and Kozeluch’s Concerto for Two Pianos and Four-Hand Piano, a CD dedicated to original works for four-hand piano by Ludwig van Beethoven, a CD with compositions for four-hand piano by Sergei Rachmaninov, a CD with chamber music by Gioachino Rossini, piano music for two and four hands by Pietro Mascagni, and a CD with compositions Scheherazade and Spanish capriccio by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. They have also recorded for Vatican Radio and RAI Radiotre.
