I LULL THE WORLD (Slovenia)
Author: Tomaž Rauch
I Lull the World is a sound realm entwining the intimate and the universal. It blends primal sound snippets from ancient peoples and traditions prioritising the direct contact of mother and child. Tomaž Rauch is a composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist especially interested in folk music. His dedicated work with the genre began in the band Trinajsto Prase and continued in many other ensembles. As a great connoisseur of traditional music from all parts of the world, he hosts the shows A Cup of Music and Distant Sound Worlds on Radio Slovenia’s Ars Program.
The installation will play three times, at 11 am, 7 pm, and 9 pm. Admission free.
