Jazz Oud Quartet plays original improvised music. Their music is a dialogue between european jazz and oriental musical heritage, particularly persian muwašahat,iranian radif and they connect their improvisations with indian raga.
Renowed multi-instrumentalist Lado Jakša, leader and founder of legendary jazz group Sončna pot and Boris Šinigoj perform with string players Tomaž Šinigoj and Miha Šinigoj, younger generation musicians, who also perform in ensembles Vagantes and Nova Schola Labacensis.
Jazz Oud Quartet performed on Ljubljana alter jazz scene in hostel Celica and in club Daktari.
