Swingatan performs exclusively original music, known for its fresh, diverse arrangements and intricate compositions. Every track on their new album carries a unique signature, with all band members contributing their own pieces. While rooted in gypsy jazz and swing, Swingatan’s sound reaches far beyond — evolving into something distinctly their own, infused with what they call a touch of Slavic swing.
At this concert, Swingatan will present their brand-new album, Fanfare Romantique.
In a time dominated by instant culture and mass production, this album puts the spotlight back on what we often overlook — emotion. Fanfare Romantique is a tribute to romance and raw feeling, captured in soulful, expressive music. The songs blend timeless charm with the spirit of the 1930s and 1940s, each telling its own story — of love, passion, and tenderness — all wrapped in Swingatan’s signature sound.
