Renowned Slovenian academic flutist Lana Kuščer works in the United States, where she performs in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Boston Symphony Hall, and the Kennedy Center in Washington. She regularly thrills audiences throughout Europe, the US, and Asia. She has shone at the Sarasota Music Festival, appeared at the Artis Festival, the London August Music Festival, the Shanghai Conservatory Jazz Music Season Festival, and many others. She regularly performs with chamber ensembles at the prestigious Opus XXI Festival in France and Germany. Together with Dr. Dongni Xie and others, she co-founded the “Live! Again” concert series in Dallas, where she is a professor of flute at Sam Houston State University. Her CD with pianist Diego Caetano Nuances Françaises was recently released on the Da Vinci Classics Label and won the Silver Medal at the Global Music Awards.

Celebrated for her brilliance and maturity, Misato Hanawa is a highly sought-after recitalist and a frequent guest at prestigious festivals. She has performed in renowned venues such as Japan’s Symphony Hall, Tokyo Opera City, the Wiener Musikverein, the Ariel Opera House, Mito Art Tower, and Carnegie Hall in New York. As a soloist, Hanawa has appeared with numerous orchestras including the Israel Soloist Orchestra, the Japan Century Orchestra, the Cairo Opera Orchestra, the Busan Orchestra, and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. A laureate of numerous international competitions, her accolades include first prizes at the Leopold Bellan International Competition (France), the World Music Competition (Spain), the U.F.A.M. Competition (France), the International North Music Competition (Sweden), the Medici International Music Competition (Italy), the Moscow International Music Competition (Russia), and the Ginastera International Music Competition (Japan). Her discography includes the recordings Hommage à Édith PiafRondo Capriccioso and How Fair This Spot. Misato Hanawa is an artist partner of BG France, Vandoren Paris, and Selmer Paris.

Diego Caetano, recipient of the Gold Medal at the 2025 Global Music Awards, is regarded as one of the most distinguished Brazilian-American pianists of his generation. The Italian newspaper La Stampa described him as “a gifted pianist with a brilliant technique and musicality,” while his international concert career has taken him to stages throughout the United States, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has appeared in prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, Philia Hall in Yokohama and Sala Cecília Meireles in Rio de Janeiro. Contemporary music occupies a central place in his artistic activity: he has given the premieres of numerous new works and is actively engaged in expanding the modern piano repertoire. A laureate of more than fifty national and international piano competitions, he has received numerous first prizes and special awards for interpretative excellence. His discography includes French Connection: Violin Sonatas of the 20th CenturyWinterreiseChansons et mélodies20th-Century Brazilian Works for Solo Piano and Nuances Françaises: 20th-Century French Flute Sonatas. Alongside his performing career, Caetano serves as Professor of Piano at Sam Houston State University, regularly gives masterclasses and appears as a juror at international competitions. He is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Ávila International Music Festival in Spain and is also a Shigeru Kawai Artist.
