Vadim Tchijik is a prize-winner of many prestigious international violin competitions such as N. Paganini Competition in Genoa, P.I.Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, R. Lipizer Competition in Gorizia; winner of International Competition in Portogruaro (Italy), Juventus Award (by the European Council), N. and L. Boulanger Foundation Award and Natexis Banque Populaire Foundation Award in Paris, O. and V. Ritter Foundation Award in Hamburg and G. Cziffra Foundation Award (France).Born in November 1975, he started to study the violin at the age of six and gave his first concert when he was only eight. He finished the famous Tchaikovsky Central Music School in Moscow for the gifted children, First Prize unanimously at the National Superior Conservatory of Music in Lyon, then he completed his post-graduate studies at the High Conservatory of Music in Cologne, Artist Certificate at the Southern Methodist University Meadows School of Arts in Dallas, Chigiana Music Academy in Siena and always obtained the highest honoursAmong his teachers were Boris Belkin, Ivry Gitlis, Edouard Schmieder, Herman Krebbers, Mihaela Martin and Irina BotchkovaHe has performed with Moscow Symphony Orchestra, North Nederland Symphony Orchestra, Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Kharkov Philharmonic, Orchestra di Teatro di Genova, Freiburg Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Ulianovsk Philharmonic, Gunma Chamber Orchestra, Vasteras Sinfonietta, Camerata of Coahuila, Musica Vitae Chamber Orchestra, Basse-Normandie, Garde Républicaine, Yaroslavl Philharmonic, Akademik Baskent (Ankara), Plano Symphony Orchestra and many others, conducted by Michel Tabachnik, Jean-Pierre Wallez, Jean Deroyer, Anton Nanut, Peter Csaba, Paolo Peloso, Enrique Batiz, Naoto Otomo etc. He is very often invited to participate in prestigious music festivals among which Festival Radio France and Montpellier, Pablo Casals, Nancyphonies, Guebwiller, Royan, Festival of St-Riquier, Fetes Romantique de Nohant, Semaines Musicales de Tours, Music Festival des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, Japan Music festival etc. He performs in various radio and TV broadcasts in many countries (France Musique, Radio Classique, NHK, France 3, Mezzo, RAI, Japanese, Russian, Swedish television) and his concerts were broadcasted all over the Europe, USA and Asia.
He recorded several CD’s for Lyrinx (“Recommandé” by Classica Magazine, “Coup de Coeur” by Piano Magazine), Exton (“One of the best CD’s of the Month” by The Record Geijutsu (Japan), Polymnie and DOCdata Benelux labels. In 2006 he participates in Japan at the recording of a series of CD dedicated to the 250th Mozart Anniversary. In 2004, the famous French magazine “Diapason” dedicates one page to Vadim Tchijik entitled “Already Maestro” and in 2010, he is on the cover of the famous “String” Magazine with an exclusive interview of six pages. He is an Artistic Director of the International Music Festival in Hyères, “Les Musicales de Saint-Martin”, “L’Automne Musical du Vesinet” and “Les Heures Musicales de Binic” Music Festivals in France.
Vadim Tchijik is currentely Professor of violin at Toulouse Conservatory and gives master-classes in Europe, in South America and in Asia. He also edited the violin part of music by Saint-Saens, Ravel and Franck for “Zen On” music edition in Japan.
He is a founder and the director of the string ensemble “Les Virtuoses” and the director of the competition for strings “Les Virtuoses du Coeur”.
Eric Courrèges is a soloist in the Philharmonique de Montpellier, European Symfony Orchestra and Concert Orchestra of Lamoureux. Courrèges also plays as a member of ensembles l’Opéra de Paris, l’Orchestre National de France and l’Orchestre d’Ile de France. He playes with some of the most renowed conductors like Lorin Mazel and Seiji Osawa.
He performed as a soloist and a chamber musician in France, Korea, Japan, Isreal, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Norway, Tahiti Mexico and elsewhere.
He is a versatile musician, who fits in many different musical formations, from jazz with Michael Legrand, rock with Johnny Hallyday, roma music, tango and to the world music. He performed with pianists like Erik Berchot, Dimitris Saroglou, violinists Philip Bride, Stéphane Rullière, ensembles 2E2M, Calliopée and quartet Hermarque. He recorded the songs of Prévert-Kosma with arrangements of C. Bolling and complete cello suites of J.S. Bach.
Anna Carrere was born in Russia in a family of talented musicians. At the age of 5 she started studying the violin, and two years later she studied the piano. At 15, she attended the Music Academy in Donetsk Ukraine, while studying with the famous Professor Victor Makarov in Kharkov. In 1998, she is a student at the Higher National Conservatory of Music in Kiev where she completed her training with Professeur Valery Kozlov. She has performed first in Ukraine then in Europe and has participated in several Master classes with the well-known pianists Vladimir Krainev and Oxana Yablonskaya in Nice.
The famous pianist Therese Dussaut has noticed her and has invited Anna Carrere in her class to perfect herself at the national academy of music in Toulouse. Anna laureat of several international competitions. In 2004 she won the second prize at the international piano competition « Arts of the 20th century» in Kiev. Sheʼs been living in France since 2004 and has performed chamber music and also performed as a soloist with different orchestras. She has participated in several music festivals in France, Spain, Israel, The Czech Republic, in Ukraine and others. From 2012 to 2015 she continued her studies with the famous Russian pianist Oxana Yablonskaya. In 2012 she created her own festival in Pompignan, through her association Franco-Slave,cultural exchanges between the two countries. She teaches the piano and her students have already won numbers of international competitions.
