Saša Dejanović started learning classical guitar in his native Banja Luka. He continued his studies at the Secondary Music School in Sarajevo and Zagreb, and at the Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of prof. Darko Petrinjak. At the age of nineteen, he already received several important awards at numerous guitar competitions, which enabled him to study at the Academy Internazionale Superiore di Musica in Italy under the renowned pedagogue Angel Gilardino. He completed his studies as a scholarship holder of the Fund for Young Musicians of the Zagreb Concert Directorate at the famous Royal Academy of Music in London. His artistic path continued with performances at famous concert halls in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Norway, Japan, USA, and South American countries. Everywhere he received an excellent response from both the audience and the critics, some music connoisseurs even consider him among the successors of the legendary Spanish guitarists Andres Segovia and Narcis Yepes. His repertoire includes many works by various composers and is stylistically extremely diversified. Saša Dejanović records for several radio and television companies in Croatia, Germany, Austria, and Spain. Among his greatest achievements is a CD with guitar arrangements of the entire opus for lute by J. S. Bach. At this concert, the successful guitarist will present the guitar opus of Spanish composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. Special feature of the concert are authentic old instruments, that the performer restored himself.
