SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION OF THE IMAGO SLOVENIAE 2026 SUMMER CONCERT SEASON
We have successfully concluded the Imago Sloveniae 2026 Summer Concert Season, which once again brought a high-quality and diverse programme to numerous venues across Slovenia and abroad.
A total of 636 musicians from 19 countries performed at 54 concerts, attended by more than 22,500 visitors. The concert programme took place at 27 venues, while through our international cultural network we also organised 5 performances by Slovenian musicians abroad.
As part of the international festivals and concert series Imago Sloveniae, Summer in Ljubljana Old Town, Young Talents, Jazz Stage and Nights in Ljubljana Old Town, we once again presented a broad range of musical programmes – from classical music and young talents to jazz, world music and special music projects for children and families.
An important part of this year’s programme was also the International Symposium of the Study Group on Multipart Music of the International Council for Traditions of Music and Dance (ICTMD), which brought together international researchers in Ljubljana from 19 to 22 August and complemented the concert programme with a professional and research programme.
This year, we once again devoted particular attention to making high-quality cultural content accessible, connecting Slovenian and international artists, creating opportunities for young musicians, and presenting Slovenian musical creativity internationally. Making high-quality culture accessible to the widest possible audience remains one of the fundamental principles of the Imago Sloveniae Foundation.

For the 38th consecutive year, as a non-governmental and non-profit organisation, we have been committed to providing accessible, high-quality cultural events and promoting Slovenian musicians internationally.
